Foundation Stone Laid
Padmasree Ms. Jothi Venkatachalam, an Indian politician who served as Governor of Kerala and Member of Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu, laid the foundation stone of the School of Nursing, Mar Baselios Medical Mission Hospital, Kothamangalam.
Council Inspection
The Commission of the Council inspected the hospital on 17.10.1980 and recommended permissive sanction to start a Nursing School attached to the hospital.
School of Nursing Started
School of Nursing M.B.M.M. was started in January 1981 as per Order No. H 1911/1980/NC dated 17/11/1980 with an annual intake of 12 students.
